Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the
online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

Strudel lived the last year of his life as a King, with everyone catering to his every need. He was a lively little poodle who was just as happy going for long walks as he was sleeping on his mom's pillow all day long. Unfortunately, his heart couldn't keep up with the rest of him and he passed away with his Mommy holding him.
You are missed, Strudel.

Strudel was found as a stray and never claimed. We don’t know his story but think that he must have been someone’s loved companion until recently. He has shown that he prefers to be the only dog in the home, he can get pretty jealous of other doggies. Our little sweetheart craves attention and will attach himself to anyone who shows him love. Strudel is just 13 lbs and about 13 years young. He gets around well and loves to go for walks in between his long naps. He's a bed hog who loves to sleep under the covers! When we rescued him, his ears were infected and packed solid with dirt and foxtails. While we had that taken care of, he lost all hearing as a result of this prior neglect. Strudel is one of our special needs seniors and he will need an understanding and extra-loving home where he can just be Strudel.
Sorry, Strudel's artwork has sold!
