Sweet Charlie was recently rescued from an animal shelter. He just recently had his senior vet check and a dental and is ready now for his forever home!
The vet says he has cataracts and he is almost blind. When he has familiar surroundings, he gets around really well. He loves to go for long walks and enjoys the fresh air. It's all about reading the Doggie post it notes.
We think he is a boxer mix, he’s ~12 years old and weighs 45 pounds.
Charlie gets along with other dogs but due to his lack of vision, he should be supervised around them (for his own safety).
If you'd like to meet this awesome guy, please contact his foster mom at

We would like to introduce you to Leo, a handsome 14 year old Papillon/Chi mix. T'his little guy is really missing his owner, who sadly passed away in January. Ever since then, he’s been boarded at a vet and passed around amongst the vet hospital workers on weekends.
What he needs most is a home of his own, a new forever family… He’s very mellow and sweet, and good with dogs, kids and cats (he’ll maybe bark if cats are in his face but he doesn’t chase). He enjoys going on walks, loves to sleep and is a great traveler. He’s UTD on vet care and vaccinations and even recently had his teeth cleaned. Leo is house trained and is used to being taken out on a regular basis for walks. He’s smart enough to learn how to use a doggie door in his new home.
Let’s find this wonderful senior dog a home of his own. If you would like to learn more about Leo, please contact Tails of Gray by email at

Mason lived for 10 years in a 10’ x 10’ outdoor kennel with only his very basic needs met. One rainy November day, the tarp covering his outdoor enclosure collapsed because it had filled with water and couldn’t hold any more. With the loss of this bare “shelter”, Animal Control Officers were able to rescue Mason and bring him to the shelter.
Mason deserves to live out the rest of his life in a warm, cozy and loving home.
He has some medical issues, including wear and/or fractures of most teeth, muscle atrophy over most of his spine and in pelvic limbs due to his living conditions, hip dysplasia, and other disc issues. He has been rehabbed, bathed, treated with antibiotics and is being carefully monitored.
Despite the medical issues and years of neglect, Mason is a well-tempered, loving, sweet and charismatic dog. Though he had no interaction with other dogs his entire life, he is interested and mostly appropriate when meeting them. He enjoys short walks and lots of hugs and kisses. This absolute “love bug” is in need of a big hearted person who is willing to offer a hospice home for the rest of his life.
If you would like to learn more about Mason, please contact Kyle at 415-506-6253 or by email at
He will be adopted through The Marin Humane Society.

We would like to introduce you to Winston, a very sweet 11-12 year old Bichon Frise. His mom is a senior citizen who loves him dearly but no longer has the ability to care for him. He was originally rescued from a puppy mill situation and is currently living in Concord, CA.
He is a wonderfully loyal companion who is friendly toward people, dogs and cats. And he loves children!
Winston is neutered and house trained. He’s in good health, other than being a little chubby, and has adapted to a slight hip issue that he had in the past.
He is quiet and is known to only bark when someone is at the front door. Winston loves to be with his people and will want to sleep in his family’s bedroom on his doggie bed.
Please consider opening up your heart and home to this little guy.
If you would like to learn more about him, please contact Matthew by phone 925-586-0445 or email
