Simba is just the sweetest little lion!! He came to us after his mom passed away and his dad could not care for him due to his own health. We are happy to have him with us.

Simba is good with dogs and cats, really seems to enjoy the companionship! It takes him just a little time to warm up to his family, but he is a cuddlebug once he trusts.

He's about 13 years old and a mere 5 lbs! He's working on his house training and it works out well to have him in his miniature diapers. He is a toothless wonder so needs to be on a soft diet. While Simba is blind, he has learned to navigate his way around through the use of a halo. His adopter will need to be willing to continue with his eye meds and anti-seizure medication (he's learned to be a pretty good boy with taking his meds!).

Simba enjoys going out and about on adventures, though he hasn't quite mastered the leash yet. He may still learn with time but, if not, he's an easy carry!

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
