Penelope and Tommy came to us after their owner passed away. They are an easy, happy bonded pair who plan to remain together forever!
Penelope may weigh only 5 pounds but she considers herself "large and in charge". She looks like a long chaired Chihuahua. Her major job is letting everyone know if an unknown person or dog is entering her territory, and while she's awake she's on the job. She loves to cuddle up in the sun, under the covers at night, and next to (or on) a warm body if possible. She is 90% house-trained.

Tommy looks like he may be a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. He weighs 13 pounds and has the energy (and the jumping ability) of a much younger dog. He loves to play tug of war and we're working on taking treats with a gentle mouth and not jumping up. Tommy wants to please and loves to follow his foster mom everywhere. He used to sleep under the covers with his owner. He will do best in a quiet home without too much traffic. He is house-trained.
Both littles are good with other dogs and cats are fine with proper introduction.
Our little diva and her handsome hunk are waiting patiently for their forever home! In the meantime, they continue to be fun and delightful visitors in their foster home.

APPLY TO ADOPT
Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the
online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
