Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

Sweet little Miya is a wonderful companion who suddenly found herself in need of a loving home. When her family was moving, they returned her to the same shelter where they originally adopted her from years ago. We have promised her that we will help her find her real forever family.
She is 15 years old and about 11 lbs.
Miya is a quiet, mellow little girl who wants nothing more than to hang out with her people and snuggle. She's housebroken, gets along with cats and dogs and even still likes to play fetch. She's fine home alone but loves to get to go. 

*We are looking for a special home for Miya, as she has a high grade heart murmur that may or may not limit her time with us. She is doing remarkably well right now and truly deserves to live out her life in a forever home with her forever family.
