LUCKY
STATUS: IN MEMORIAM
Shiba Inu/Chihuahua Mix
Neutered Male
Age: 13 years old
Size: Small
Special Needs: No
Lucky is an easygoing senior boy who was discovered in a creek. His compassionate rescuers watched over him during his stay at the shelter and decided as a family that he needed to be in their home as a foster dog. And what a lucky boy he is to be with them!
He settled right in to their home and loves to rest on his bed, in between exploring his surroundings.
We think he is about 13 years old and he weighs 16 lbs.
Lucky is good with other dogs, older kids and likely would be ok with cats. He’s very mellow and enjoys attention and even sleeps through the night.
Lucky doesn't ask for much at all and is an easy dog to have around. He is one of those special dogs, a kind and gentle old soul...
APPLY TO ADOPT
Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?
It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.
After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.
If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.
After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
