Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

Fiona ended up in the shelter after being picked up as a stray and was never claimed.
She is a wonderful dog, happy and enthusiastic about life. She is in need of a little training but is smart and making great progress. We think she may even enjoy some agility classes!
With proper introduction, Fiona gets along with most dogs, big or small. There are a few dogs in between who bother her so she will need to approve of any well-matched doggie brother or sister or be adopted into a home where she is sole superstar. She thinks cats are lots of fun to chase. Fiona absolutely adores and worships kids!
She is strong and active outside but settles down nicely in the home and is mellow. Fiona loves to get to go but is fine home alone. 
We think she’s 7-9 years old and she is about 45 lbs.
Fiona is a sweetheart who is waiting patiently for her forever home!!
