And he lived happily ever after.
Coco came to us after being confiscated along with 18 other dogs. They were discovered living in horrific conditions in a U-Haul trailer. It has taken Coco a very long time to regain any level of trust toward people but he finally seems to (mostly) understand that he will never be harmed again.
He is 15 years old and weights about 10 pounds.
Coco gets along with all other animals and will do well in a mellow, adult only home. He does fine home alone in the day but when his people are home, his favorite place to be is right by their side. He sleeps peacefully on the human bed at night.
Due to his past, Coco should never be exposed to a crate situation again. He is scared of kids and will react out of fear so needs to not spend time around them.
He's a pretty healthy boy and still enjoys going for short walks.
Coco has lived a lifetime of bad and we are very proud of how far he has come. He will be a devoted and loyal companion to a very lucky family.

Sorry, Coco's artwork has sold!

APPLY TO ADOPT
Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the
online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
