Chia was found abandoned in the cold and rain at a construction site around Christmastime. She was rescued by a kind family who treated her for a skin and ear infection and then she landed in a wonderful foster home.
We think she is about 10 years old – a spunky 10 years old! She does an adorable welcome home dance for her humans and enjoys her daily walks. She is also happy holding down the couch.
Chia is good with dogs, cats and has been friendly toward kids and anyone new she meets. She’s crate-trained and is fine when left alone.
Our champion cuddler will be a great match for almost any home.

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
