APPLY TO ADOPT
Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the
online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

Belle is a happy, happy girl who loves life! She was brought to the shelter to be euthanized due to eye issues and, thank goodness, the shelter thought otherwise. We are thrilled to have her with us!
She has shown us that she's a snuggler who loves to give kisses, hide under covers, and she especially enjoys sharing their meals. Belle is quiet, house trained, good with other dogs and super-friendly toward people.
We think she is 11 years old and she weighs 27 lbs. Other than her eyes and being visually impaired, she is considered to be healthy.
While able to track hand movements, she really can't see much through either eye due to too much time has passed without care. She is now on a medication regime and will require eye care for life. She navigates her way around quite well and has adapted to her limited sight.
Belle is truly a wonderful dog and she will be a very loyal companion to her new forever family!
