Banjo is a very loving and affectionate big boy who is on the search for his forever home. His owner was forced to part ways with him when he had to move overseas.
He’s settling nicely into his foster home and his foster mom says he is a super sweet boy who likes a lot of pets, belly rubs and attention. He doesn't have the best leash manners in the world but is improving and is a great dog overall! He loves kids and is good with other medium and large dogs. Banjo likely has the husky prey drive and he will need to be in a home without cats or small dogs.
Banjo has so much energy! He will thrive with a family/couple/person that’s active. As he sheds a little weight, he’ll only get more active. He likes the dog park but gets more energy out on long walks. He also enjoys water!
Our soft and fluffy big teddy bear is about 7-8 years old and he weighs ~60 lbs.
Banjo is really a wonderful dog who is ready to join his forever family on many adventures in the years to come!

APPLY TO ADOPT
Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?
It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.
After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.
If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.
After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
