Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

Abner is just the sweetest little man! He came to us from the shelter where he had a whole lot of volunteers looking out for him. They made sure his rotten teeth were cared for and he's now a proud soft food eater. His foster family heard about him, drove right over and sprung him free. 
Abner likes the great outdoors and is easy on leash. He is good with dogs, cats (they are bigger than him!), and kids. He loves to be held and snuggles right up in blankets whenever he comes across one.
We think he's about10 years old and he's ~10 pounds.
Abner loves going on adventures with his foster family and he LOVES snuggles and cozy blankets. He's a wonderful boy who will do well in almost any home.
